New Year's Resolutions

Despite the number of books on the market that promise to provide the reader with the secret to understanding the whims, mood swings and sophisticated tastes of their resident feline, of one thing you can be certain: NO ONE UNDERSTANDS CATS*. Not really. It's as if they're running on a higher, far more ethereal intellectual level, far superior to the swishy-swashy defective human minds that wrote these tomes.

The feline collective unconscious has already catalogued and anticipated the humans' feeble attempts at decoding their mysterious ways, done a U-turn, preserving their cloak and claw intrigue like Professor Moriarty.

Still, a New Year's Resolution of mine is to better understand the feline psyche, namely that of my own two rescue cats... It could take some time, but hey maybe there could be a book (or at least a few articles and blog entries) in there.

* Except for Jackson Galaxy of course.
